The Extra Benefits program provides discounts and special offers on selected goods and services. The Extra Benefits program is managed by ALI Group Pty Ltd ABN 42 101 330 036 (ALI). The Extra Benefits website is hosted by ALI and connected to an Application Programming Interface provided by The Ambassador Card Pty Ltd ABN 27 271 418 094 (TAC).

By activating an Extra Benefits account you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. ALI reserves the right to modify there Terms and Conditions from time to time at our sole discretion. Changes will be notified on the Extra Benefits website and will take effect immediately upon posting. Please review these pages regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes.

Extra Benefits Membership

Extra Benefits Membership is managed by ALI.

To be eligible for Extra Benefits Membership an individual must:

  • own a current policy distributed by or under the authority of Australian Life Insurance Distribution Pty Ltd ABN 31 103 157 811 AFSL 226403, or
  • hold current authorisation (as defined in the Corporations Act 2001) from Australian Life Insurance Distribution Pty Ltd ABN 31 103 157 811 AFSL 226403, or
  • be deemed eligible by ALI at their sole discretion

A valid, Australian mobile phone number is a requirement for using the program.

Eligible individuals will be invited by ALI to join via email and will be required to activate their account via entry of the code delivered via SMS. This SMS will be delivered to the mobile phone last notified to ALI by the policy owner or authorised representative respectively.

SMS authentication is mandatory upon each log in to the program.

If an Extra Benefits Member no longer meets the eligibility requirements or ALI elects to withdraw their Extra Benefits membership for any reason:

  • their membership of the Extra Benefits program will be cancelled.
  • their access to the Extra Benefits program website and its benefits will cease.
  • any unused credit in their Extra Benefits account will be forfeited, regardless of any previously advised credit expiry date.

ALI reserves the right to:

  • alter or amend the conditions of operation of the Extra Benefits program, or terminate the Extra Benefits program, at any time.
  • adjust the balance of an Extra Benefits account, for example where credit has been applied in error or credit used to purchase has not been deducted correctly.

Any information relating to Extra Benefits Members and their participation in the Extra Benefits program may be used by ALI for marketing, planning, product development, research and other commercial purposes.

Extra Benefits Members agree that by activating their Extra Benefits account they will receive digital communications which include latest benefits and recommendations on ways to maximise the Extra Benefits program benefits.

Opting out of Extra Benefits communications or cancelling Extra Benefits membership will not affect your receipt of other marketing communications from ALI nor your policy or authorisation (as applicable). Opting out of any other ALI marketing communications will not cancel your Extra Benefits membership nor your receipt of Extra Benefits communications.

Extra Benefits Website

We may, without prior notice, change the offering on the Extra Benefits website including its services; stop providing the services or any features of the services we offer; or create limits for the services. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason.

At the time of publication, all establishments listed on this website are active participants in the Extra Benefits program. We do not guarantee that the information provided is complete or correct.

Neither ALI nor TAC accept any responsibility for loss or damage suffered by any person or body relying directly or indirectly on any information contained within the Extra Benefits website.

Any benefit may be withdrawn from the Extra Benefits program via removal from the Extra Benefits website.

These Terms and Conditions only apply to the Extra Benefits Website and do not apply to any websites from which you may have linked to this Extra Benefits website or to any website to which you may link from this Extra Benefits Website.

The sites that are displayed when searching available goods and services are developed by third parties over whom ALI and TAC have no control.

Shipping and Delivery Policy

Many of the goods and services purchased via the Extra Benefits program are delivered electronically. Physical products ordered via the Extra Benefits Website are delivered Australia wide using Australia Post. Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location, exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout.

Physical products are dispatched within 2 business days and shipping times are estimated at between 7-10 business days depending on your location within Australia.

Pricing Policy

All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax). Prices are regularly updated when price changes are received from our suppliers.

Payments and Refund Policy

Payment can be made by credit card. Once payment has been cleared, we will distribute as you have purchased. You confirm that the credit card that is being used is yours. All credit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer and the supplier. If the issuer of your credit card refuses to authorise payment for products within the Extra Benefits program, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of Services.

All electronic gift cards sold via Extra Benefits program are restricted by the terms and conditions of each individual supplier and should be found in the terms & conditions of the individual supplier. All digital gift cards and vouchers are non-refundable, as they are to be treated as cash. Gift cards and vouchers are valid until the expiry date indicated and cannot be exchanged or replaced. Vouchers are sold for the personal use of Extra Benefits Members only. Vouchers or gift cards are not to be re-sold and cannot be re-distributed.

Security Policy

When purchasing from the Extra Benefits program your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break and is the industry standard. Your personal information is not shared with TAC. ALI's Privacy Policy can be found here and sets out what information we collect from you and how we will use your information.
